Like most other sourcemods (garrysmod being the exception), I wouldnt be able to host a very large server...4-5 people max. For some reason the amount of upload bandwidth per person is much higher in most sourcemods than garrysmod.

Could be the map is taking too much memory? Could be faulty memory that the map is trying to use....could be your antivirus (I just helped a friend who also crashed trying to load and it was his antivirus)...could be a very small change you added to the map that gmod doesnt like....etc etc

loopback is fine. That just means its your comp your connecting from.

Before starting any map, enter the following into console:

developer 1
log on


Then you can check your logs in your garrysmod/logs folder

Have you tried setting developer mode to 1 and turning on logs before trying to load the map? There may be a chance that gmod will output an error to the console that you can use before it crashes....

Well I hope Zimo is reading this, as I cant do anything til after the holidays.
